2018 PIGTAIL CLASSIC - Lower BUCKS LACROSSE

Saturday - May 19, 2018 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

LOCATION

Maple Point Middle School in Langhorne, PA

COST

$250 per team if you sign up before April 24th

$300 per team after April 24th

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Each team guaranteed four 20 minute games with running clock and abide by US Lacrosse Youth Rules except as noted below. 

  • Games will start with a center draw, and then after each goal, play will resume with a goalie clear. We will NOT go back to a center draw.  Officials will start play after a goal with a whistle.
  • Goalie is optional for Lightning Division.  If no goalie is available, teams may substitute a Rage Cage.  Goalie is not considered an extra field player.

First game starts at 2:00 PM and all games should be wrapped up by 6:00 PM.

BANTAM DIVISION

  • Girls in grades 1 & 2
  • 7 v. 7 on a 60 yd. x 35 yd. field with 6 x 6 goals
  • 7 field players shall constitute a team
  • No goalie
  • Mid-field restraining line
  • 2 Attack, 3 Middies, 2 Defense
  • Max of 15 players per team roster

LIGHTNING DIVISION

  • Girls in grades 3 & 4
  • 7 v. 7 on a 60 yd. x 35 yd. field with 6 x 6 goals
  • 7 field players shall constitute a team (goalie optional)
  • Mid-field restraining line
  • 2 Attack, 3 Middies, 2 Defense
  • Max of 15 players per team roster

EQUIPMENT

  • Goggles and mouth guard required for all players
  • Goalies must have throat guard, chest protector, protective cup and elbow pads
  • Coaches are responsible to ensure proper equipment

THE FIELD

  • field dimensions are 60 yards x 35 yards
  • creases are the standard 9 foot radius
  • goals are standard 6 x 6  goals

THE BALL

  • standard NOCSE approved ball

The 2018 PAGLA Playday Tournament Registeration Is Now Open!

If you would like to be register please email Megan Davies   or Alex Kulp   and provide your team name, grade level, division of play, contact person, etc.

United Sports has partnered with the Philadelphia Area Girls Lacrosse Association (PAGLA) to bring to you a fun, exciting day of rec lacrosse! This event will host teams from across the greater Philadelphia area. Expected to sell out! Register TODAY!  Only teams that are members PAGLA are eligible to participate in the playday! 


FORMAT:
Saturday, June 2rd - 5/6th grade divisions
Sunday, June 3th - 3/4th grade & 7/8th grade divisions

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Guaranteed 4 X 25 minute games
- Games played on United Sports premier outdoor surfaces
- Certified US Lacrosse Umpires
- Full field for grades 5/6 & 7/8
- Modified field for grades 3/4
- Championship format for 7/8 A & B
